"My partner and I met Suzanne Nichols in the Fall of 2006, referred by a neighbor who had just completed a successful adoption with her. We had come to adoption from a long path of unsuccessful infertility. We liked Suzanne immediately upon first meeting her; our fears allayed by her experience and calm manner. I remember her strongest advice to us: Do what I say and you will have a baby in 5-8 months. Well, that seems easy enough, except that my partner and I are both Capricorns and very strong-willed! However, we fought our inner urges and did what she said.

Our first son, Tristan, was born April 25, 2007 in Washington State, 19 days after the day our first ad appeared. We have a wonderful relationship with our birth family – they are all loving, respectful and, they say grateful, for what we have done. We feel equally lucky to know them and know the kind of people he comes from.

Our second adoption was not quite so quick! This time, we met a wonderful girl and her boyfriend from Illinois and our second son, Zander, was born January 6, 2010; and we got to be there for the birth! We send regular updates to both families with pictures so that they can witness the blossoming of both of these special boys.

We've heard it said that no matter what route you take to have a family, that you get the child/children that you're meant to have. We believe that wholeheartedly. We love our sons more than anything, and are lives are a little bit brighter every single time we see them smile."

“The first time I met with Suzanne I was expecting to hear all about how hard a process this was going to be for me as a single woman. I'd spoken with many friends – who did NOT call Suzanne – and heard all about their struggles, the exorbitant amounts of time and money they'd expended, and the heart wrenching tales of adoptions gone awry. I shared all my fears with Suzanne and by the end of our first meeting I was so excited and full of hope that I'd forgotten everything I had heard in the past!

I realize my story is not typical. It seems like one day I decided to adopt a baby, and just like that, I had a son! My ads hit the papers the second week of November 2010 and my gorgeous son, Joseph, was born on December 29! The adoption was complete by January 4, 2011. So 7 weeks after my ads went out, I was home cradling the new love of my life in my arms. I truly believe this happened because of Suzanne's gentle direction through this process.

Since venturing on this journey I have recommended Suzanne many times and will be calling her again when it comes time for Joey to have a brother or a sister. In the meantime, I will always be grateful to Suzanne for her support, guidance, and expertise, in bringing my son home to me.”

“My husband and I were referred to Suzanne Nichols through family friends who had successfully adopted twins with her. As my husband and I had just lost full-term twins after our fight with infertility, we thought this was fate! It turns out that fate may have brought us to Suzanne's office, but it was Suzanne's knowledge, guidance and openness that brought us the fairytale family I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl.

The main thing that still resonates after adopting our two children with Suzanne is the calm way she simply stated, "Do EXACTLY what I say and I will get you a baby in 5-8 months." What?!? How could this be after three exhausting, painstaking years of infertility and loss? It was the first time that I felt the power was put back into my hands in creating our family. Well, exactly five months later, my beautiful son was born in SC, and my husband and I were able to hold his birthmother's hand through the entire birth! Three years later, albeit, a longer process, my daughter was born in KS and again, I was able to hold her birthmother's hand through the entire C-section. Suzanne may not know it, but, in this household, we call her our fairy godmother.”
